While I'm waiting, let's play a game

I was going to blog about our day out at NASA last Monday, today- but Chet has the pictures on his laptop, and I thought that while I was waiting to get the pics sent to me- we could all play this fun game! Many other people are already playing it, and I think it is a lot of fun! So- 1-2-3 GO!

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot...anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty cool (and funny) to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. :)

ps - I've had to change my background from my beloved punch buggy's because if I pulled up my blog while ANY of my kids were in the room - it turned into a PUNCH fest of "punch buggy" "punch buggy" "punch buggy" !

Let's see Bertie...the trip to the beach with the sand castles was a good one except for the scare Ethan gave us. Also, our 4th of July celebration was a lot of fun. Mostly, my favorite is just hanging out while the kids play and talking and laughing about all sorts of things. You're so much fun and a great friend!

Umm, so many to choose from. I remember when our parents would go out to eat and leave all of us kids to watch "the babies" (Elizabeth and Emily) and they would buy us tons of candy and we would watch scary movies... I remember watching Tremors with you guys and being totally freaked out and scared. I also remember going to the beach and sleeping on the deck in our swimsuits so we were ready in the morning for the beach. So many good times!!

I have memories of hanging out during play dates and realizing that you had a really fun personality and were a good mom to know. The story that I always think of for you is when you ran through the garage, not that I was there. And, I think we all need to do more stuff together without the kids so we can have even more memories!

My favorite memory would have to be hanging out at the galleria and watching kids fall while they were ice skating. We would all laugh and laugh. That and going to Astroworld and you took Katie on the Texas Cyclone and she cried the whole way down..haha

Oh my goodness, there are so many. Girls camp, stake dances. A couple specific ones, youth conference at that big ranch, we left the tour group and we were on the bridge throwing rocks at the alligators. We were so smart. That was the same year I had that thing for Bradley. Another one, I think we were 3rd or 4th years and we were going to sneak out and pull a prank on another cabin and as soon as we stood up Sister Tomlinson opened her eyes and scared us.
Fun game!

I remember you and Chet were with me and Brett on our first date when we took the 4-trax out to ride in the mud. You were *very* pregnant with Dante but that didn't stop Chet from perching you on the 4-trax (right on the spot that says "no seat") and driving up the side of a very steep mountain.

Chet offered to come back for me, but I declined, perferring to climb the mountain myself rather than die.

Good times.

Ok so we have only seen each other a couple of times, but I do have a couple of memories from those. First you came over to our house, and Dante I think was about 9 pr 10 months old, we had some balloons and he just kept hitting himself in the face with it andloving it. Both you and Chet says he loves doing that, and you thought it was funny. Maybe you were bad parents for thinkin that your son beating himself was hilarious. We were all having fun. Then we ran into you at Burlington coat factory. We were both shopping for baby stuff. Me I was huge big fat with my 3 baby and you had just had Erin the day before and looked like you could have gotten into a swimming suit, you looked so good. I was so jealous, but you earn it by working for it.But I do remember very vividly the thoughts and feelings of wishing I could be like that.

Ahhh...so, so many to choose from! Mostly the ones we always laugh about - the haunted house when my date looked at his watch and rolled his eyes and sighed while we were all having fun, the T.P. night when you first joined Beehives and wiped your snotty nose all over my shirt after I (jokingly) said you could, driving all of you over to Burger King in the big van and then not being able to find the keys when we left, so digging through the entire nasty trash can, only to find them in my pocket!!! good times, good times. Love you!

I remember when you were in a ward, which was such a short time, that I really wanted to get to know you but before I knew it you guys had left. I thought you were such a fun person and I thought it was neat that you baby's name was also Ethan like my oldest son!
